What is going on right now??? Life is truly weird for everyone right now, and from the looks of it from the recording studio, it will continue to be weird for quite a while. We made the decision to temporarily cease operations in mid-March, and things were quiet at TDRS for a few months.

In the meantime, David and I have been spending time catching up on hobbies, getting some rest, and taking care of some renovation projects at the studio. While we were down, we’ve built some acoustic panels to hang in the studio to better manage some reflections in our space and the difference is definitely noticeable! New LED color changing WiFi-enabled lightbulbs have also been installed in the studio to be able to better control the atmosphere in our control room.

Thankfully, both of us, and our families, are blessed enough to have remained healthy through all of this. The studio is in no danger of shutting down permanently because of some smart business decisions in the early part of this year as well as the loving support of our clients!

As of May 15th, we have (kinda) reopened. We’re operating on a limited schedule and setting aside time in between each session to sanitize every part of the building. In addition to this, we’ve limited our maximum occupancy to just four people at a time. With these measures in place, we are confident that you will be able to catch up on your projects and that everyone involved will be able to remain safe and healthy.
